After a long hiatus, Helen Perris is back releasing music with her single, Crown. It is currently exclusively available on Bandcamp and will be released on all other platforms on November 22.
Crown is about rising up following adversity and its release is somewhat of a release for Helen herself after several tumultuous and difficult years where her resilience has been tested to the limit.
Recorded prior to the pandemic at Love Hz studios, Crown was produced by Josh Schuberth, who has now set up his own studio, Fireswamp Studios in the Blue Mountains. It features Helen’s lush harmonies and Josh’s epic drums in a package of indie pop perfection.
